This summer, Apple Core Hotels invites guests to explore New York City’s West Village with a Sicilian-style "giro del gelato”––a gelato tour of the best spots in the neighborhood.

Apple Core Hotels guests can take a relaxing stroll through the charming streets of New York City’s “Gelato District”, where their taste buds will be given a workout with the varied flavor offerings––from the traditional Stracciatella to the adventurous Ciocco Peperoncino (chocolate cayenne pepper).  Guests will visit the following shops on the tour: Grom (an Italian gelati chain, serving a range of flavors made with first-rate ingredients from the old country), L'Arte Del Gelato (featuring Italian favorites such as Stracciatella, Cassata Siciliana and Biscotti), and Cones (be sure to try the Corn flavor with an optional sprinkle of cinnamon).  All three shops are situated within walking distance of one another in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan.

Terms and conditions:
Guests must pay for up to $10 at each of the following gelato shops located in the West Village: Grom, located at 233 Bleecker Street (at Carmine Street), New York, NY 10014; L’Arte Del Gelato, located at 75 Seventh Avenue South (at Barrow Street), New York, NY 10014; and Cones, located at 272 Bleecker Street (near Morton Street), New York, NY 10014. Guest must present receipts to the front desk to receive credit to their credit card on file in the amount of maximum $30. Purchases of the above mentioned gelatos must be done throughout the stay at one of Apple Core Hotels properties in New York City and a maximum of $10 plus $10 plus $10 (i.e $30) will be reimbursed per room. Taxes and other costs are not included and any additional charges must be paid for by the guest. Offer is non-transferable. Offer cannot be combined with any other offers/promotions/upgrades or rebates/refunds associated with your stay. Package rates are $179 per night in July and $239 in August, exclusive of tax, based on availability and based on single or double occupancy. Any additional person in the room will pay an extra $15.
