Hotel group is offering a wallet-friendly $4.15 rate to commemorate the ’09 filing deadline

It’s that time of year again…in celebration of the end of tax season, Apple Core Hotels is offering a select number of rooms at a special rate of $4.15. (Yes, that’s four dollars and fifteen cents!) Guests can enjoy a night in NYC for less than the price of their TurboTax software!

The “Tax Time” package is available from April 1st – April 15th and includes:

• Accommodations in the heart of New York City
• Complimentary breakfast and in-room coffee

The package will be available for a total of 10 room nights via a lottery system.  To be entered into the drawing for Apple Core Hotels “Tax Time” promotion, guests should call Apple Core Hotels' Reservations Department at (800) 567-7720 or (212) 790-2710. 

Terms and conditions:
Offer valid from April 1, 2009 until April 15, 2009 only, based on availability, and should be requested by guest. Promotion rate of $4.15 is including taxes and based on single or double occupancy. Offer valid at all Apple Core Hotels properties, but guests can only request one property when making a reservation and will not be able to check availability for this rate at another Apple Core Hotels property. When promotion will be requested, guest will be entered into a drawing that will be held Monday, March 30, 2009 to know who will win the chance to book this promotion. A limited number of rooms will be available for this promotion. Only one reservation per guest for this promotion. Only one room night per reservation under this promotion. As a result, there will be 10 names drawn from all participants Monday, March 30, 2009. To be entered into the drawing for this promotion, guests should call Apple Core Hotels' Reservations Department at 1(800) 567-7720 (toll free within the U.S.) or +1 212 790-2710. Offer cannot be booked online (through Apple Core Hotels website or any other website), by email or through individual hotel. Guests will be asked a few questions. Deadline to participate to this drawing Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. Employees of Apple core Hotels, their family & friends cannot take advantage of this promotion. 1. Introduction: Apple Core Hotels is offering 10 room nights at $4.15 each.

PARTICIPATION APPLIES ONLY TO PEOPLE LIVING OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK CITY. ONLY ONE PARTICIPATION PER FAMILY ALLOWED. EMPLOYEES OF APPLE CORE HOTELS, THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS CANNOT PARTICIPATE.

2. Eligibility: Entrant must be 21 years of age as of April 1, 2009. Offer does not apply to corporate, group & travel agent bookings.

3. Timing: Promotion will start being distributed on March 6, 2009. Guest can be entered into the drawing until Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. The raffle will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009.

4. How to Enter: To be entered into the drawing for Apple Core Hotels “Tax Time” promotion, guests should call Apple Core Hotels' Reservations Department at 1(800) 567-7720 (toll free within the U.S.) or +1 212 790-2710. Offer cannot be booked online (through Apple Core Hotels website or any other website), by email or through individual hotel. Guest should request to be entered into the drawing for this promotion. Apple Core Hotels Reservations Agents will ask the guests for information about their stay. Guests can request to stay only at one property. To be a valid entry, the entry must be correctly filled out and complete. There is a limit of one entry per family. Subsequent survey responses by a family will not give the responding family additional entries into the drawing. Any subsequent surveys completed by the same family will not be submitted into the raffle. All entries must be received by Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. The raffle will be held on March 30, 2009.

5. Winning the Contest: Each entrant selected as a potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. All entries must be completed by Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. All entries must be complete with all required fields filled in. Potential winners will be notified by phone to check the personal information (first name, last name, address, city, zip code, country, phone number, dates of stay, hotel, credit card information). If a potential winner cannot be contacted and does not reply with appropriate affidavit and information within two (2) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, the potential winner will not be able to book the promotion anymore. No alternate entrant will be selected in his or her place from all entries received.

6. Promotion: Guests will be able to book the following promotion: ten (10) room nights at $4.15 per night, including taxes, from April 1, 2009 until April 15, 2009 only, based on single or double occupancy and based on availability at any of the property that was initially requested when entered into the drawing. Only one reservation per guest for this promotion. Only one room night per reservation under this promotion.

Total Approximate Retail Value of All Prizes: $41.50 ($41.50 = $4.15 * 10 room nights). Apple Core Hotels is not responsible for problems associated with redemption. Reservations for the winners are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made.

7. Other Terms and Conditions: By entering into the drawing and accepting the reservation, the winner agrees that Apple Core Hotels, its franchisors, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of Apple Core Hotels’ employees, representatives and agents, will have no liability whatsoever form and will be held harmless by winner for any liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance of the prize or participation in the sweepstakes or participation in any contest or prize related activity. Subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited.

8. Miscellaneous: All entries become the sole property of Apple Core Hotels. Apple Core Hotels shall retain all intellectual property rights to their perspective properties that are used in this survey. In the event of a dispute, entries made by phone will be deemed the authorized account holder of the phone number submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to a phone number by a phone provider or other phone organization that is responsible for assigning phone numbers. A potential winner may be requested to provide Apple Core Hotels with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the phone number associated with the winning entry. If for any reason Apple Core Hotels is not capable of running the raffle as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Apple Core Hotels that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the raffle, Apple Core Hotels reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle. Apple Core Hotels assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Apple Core Hotels is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, failure of a phone number or a phone, or entry to be received by Apple Core Hotels on account of technical problems or traffic congestion at Apple Core hotels Reservations Department, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's phone related to or resulting from participation in the drawing for this promotion. Apple Core Hotels is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries or for entries that the retailer failed to give to sponsor(s) according to the entry schedule set forth.
