  • A: New York City is served by three major airports and three smaller suburban airports. LaGuardia (LGA) is the closest to Midtown and Times Square but is mostly a domestic airport, with some flights to and from Canada. It has the least convenient mass transit connections, but metered taxis are readily available and relatively cheap. John F. Kennedy International (JFK) is New York's largest airport and the top for international flights, but it is a bit further away from Manhattan than LGA and the traffic is often heavy and unpredictable. Newark-Liberty International (EWR) in New Jersey is the closest to lower Manhattan and does offer International flights. Flying through Newark can be cheaper, but you'll pay more for car services, taxi and Uber.
  • A: While the hotels do not provide courtesy transportation, there are plenty of options to get into Manhattan. Based on your group, we invite you to find the best option for you all. You could use the company Super Shuttle from the airport, which costs approximately $25-$40 per person and drops you off right at your destination. No reservations are required from the airport to your destination, but they are required for your return trip. You can find more information on them here: https://www.supershuttle.com/locations/ Also, you can visit these links for other companies to arrange shuttle service at your own convenience: www.goairportshuttle.com, www.stateshuttle.com, www.nycairporter.com
  • A: The New York City Transit Service website is a great source of information for finding routes to our hotels or to incredible destinations and attractions.
  • A: New York City delivers excitement, culture and fun during its four distinct seasons, each with different activities to explore. Overall, the best time to visit New York City is from April through June and September to early November when the weather is mild and pleasant but the tourist crowds are not overwhelming. Fall in NYC - and especially Central Park - is breathtaking as the leaves change color. Spring offers everything in full blossom and is a perfect time of year for sightseeing. Winter brings holiday shopping, sparkling store windows and the massive Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.
  • A: Apple Core's four boutique hotels are right in the heart of Manhattan's most vibrant neighborhoods. Stay within steps of Times Square, Broadway Theaters, Madison Square Garden, the Fashion District, SoHo, and the Javits Convention Center. Explore iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building and 9/11 Memorial, go shopping along Fifth Avenue, or take the ferry across the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty. For those looking to see some art and culture, the MoMA, The Met, and Museum of Natural History are an easy walk or cab ride away. If traveling with kids, head to the Zoo at Central Park or glide around the ice rink at Rockefeller Center for a winter wonderland.
